MEALS: Do we need to purchase meals for the group from our caterer?

TSQ is most often hired for the early part of a wedding – the ceremony, cocktail hour, etc., in which case a meal is not necessary. For ceremony and cocktail hour bookings, they’ll likely be out of the venue and on their way to another gig before dinner is served. If you hire the musicians to play through dinner, we may request what’s called a “vendor meal”, depending on the circumstances. This is a meal provided by caterers which, by the way, is not the same as what the guests are having. It’s not a multi-course meal. It’s usually a small meal, provided at a reduced price, for the photographer, musicians, etc. We can work closely with your event planner, venue coordinator, or catering director to insure the plan for feeding the musicians will work with the schedule.
