Most recently, Aaron has acted as co-producer and music director for the beloved vintage-pop artist Kat Edmonson, including playing drums and co-producing on her most recent release, Dreamers Do, a collection of mid-20th-century songs from Disney and the American Songbook.
Lucy Music is a boutique live music company owned and operated by musician Aaron Thurston which books specialized cover bands (including Tribute String Quartet) for events nationally and internationally. “We're a small operation - essentially just a collection of my friends' bands. Each of our bands are 'real bands,' meaning they're groups of friends that all play in each other's original projects, and we gave our bands these 'cover band' aliases (The Prenups, The Loyales, etc.) for when we play weddings and parties. In a typical year, we’ll play about 80-100 weddings, and people seem to find it refreshing that we're not the 'typical wedding bands' put together by some wedding band agency." - Aaron Thurston, Founder & Director of Lucy Music
